The Philippines Chapter of the Internet Society (ISOC-PH) is a non-profit organization operated for charitable networking and educational purposes, as well as for academic, scientific and social purposes. Chartered August 1999, ISOC-PH was rejuvenated in 2009.
The Internet Society (ISOC) is a nonprofit organisation founded in 1992 to provide leadership in Internet related standards, education, and policy. ISOC is dedicated to ensuring the open development, evolution and use of the Internet for the benefit of people throughout the world.

Following its public presentation at the APNIC 27 Meeting at APRICOT and ISOC's international processes for recognition, ISOC-PH is now inviting individuals and organizations to join and take part in drawing together the rejuvenated Chapter's program of activities for the year. At present, ISOC-PH has three Working Groups: the Internet Governance Working Group, the Education Working Group and the IPv6 Working Group. More.
The new and rejuvenated ISOC Philippines Chapter (ISOC-PH) gave its first public presentation at the Internet Governance Pulong (IGP) held during the APNIC 27 Meeting in conjunction with the Asia Pacific Regional Internet Conference on Operational Technologies (APRICOT 2009). The event also marked the public launch of ISOC-PH after a rejuvenation process initiated by founding member, Rodel Urani. More.
